I'm a daylight saving time whiner. I hate the change twice a year, and I especially hate that these days we are in standard time for only 4 months of the year, spending most of the year in daylight saving time.
And for what? This article outlines the reasoning and history behind the decision to monkey with our clocks. Apparently, the arguments for/against have been ongoing since the inception during WWII. I doubt it will change anytime soon, so I'll just go ahead and continue to bitch twice a year about how f-cking tired I am due to the clock change.
And....it has nothing to do with farming.
Hey, I learned something new today!
