I just lost the whole post I was working on instead of being in the basement on my bike trainer. It was all about how I’m still on the struggle bus with my part-time routine despite having been working 24 hours a week since October 2018.
Here’s the short-short version. I can’t figure out a good routine where I get in a workout, meditate and journal all before work. That was some grand plan. Take today for instance, I got up at 5:45am, managed to meditate, made coffee and then announced to S I was going to make sure I was in the basement on my bike trainer when all the chaos was happening. I can’t intervene in the morning routine he’s got going with the kids because when I try to “help” it makes everything worse.
I wasn’t in the basement on my bike trainer when I planned on it, I was writing the post I ultimately lost. Now I’m pissed off that I didn’t stick to my own damn routine and have to figure out when to workout today.
It’s a mess and accountability to myself is shit.
